Back Pieces

Make a part horizontally at the nape of the neck with a sectioning comb.
Clip extra hair up and away using a sectioning clip.
Tease your natural hair close to the scalp at this section and spray with hair spray for better grip.
Use the 15cm wide piece which is the shortest piece out of the 3. Check that all the clips are open. Starting from the middle and working your way out, slide clips into the teased section and snap shut.
Tip: To make your extensions slightly more secure, hook a small amount of the hair that has been sectioned up into your clips, slide the clip into the pre teased section and snap the clip shut.
Ensure that the extension sits flat against the scalp and each clip feels secure.
Repeat the same process with the 18cm wide piece for the middle section, which is designed to sit approximately 2.5cm above the bottom piece.
Repeat again with the 20cm wide extension (the widest weft) and place it 2.5cm above the middle piece.
Tip: To make the hair look as natural as possible, avoid placing the last weft too close to the crown of the head. In some cases it can look unnatural having shorter layers so close to the top and can be visible if in fine hair. Rule of thumb: Make your last section the same level or slightly higher than the top of the ears. This is generally the widest part of the head so the extension should fit perfectly and the natural hair will fall over the top creating a natural layered effect.

Side Pieces

Depending on how you wear your hair, you can use one or both of the 7.5cm wide pieces. Section a small part of hair horizontally at the temple so it is inline with the top extension and repeat the above process.
Tip: If you have fine hair you can cut your side pieces in half to create a softer look around the face. This way you can have the option of thickening the sides if needed or placing the extra pieces at the back.

Care

Gloss Extensions are 100% human hair, so caring for them is very similar to the way you would care for your own hair.

Detangle gently and thoroughly before washing and always use a wide tooth comb.
Gently rub shampoo through to the ends then rinse thoroughly with tepid water.
Gently work conditioner/treatment through to the ends and then rinse thoroughly with tepid water.
DO NOT try to comb the hair when it is wet. Lay the hair out and let it air-dry. Once dry, gently detangle with a wide tooth comb.
Ensure you don’t pull the hair while brushing; always gently brush from bottom upwards.
Store with clips closed to avoid tangling. If possible it is best to hang the hair from a hanger or store in its original box.
Note: Colour may be added to the hair but DO NOT BLEACH.
